When life gives you lemons... Mark II is up and running... I used masking tape to cover the extra LEDs on the light and limit it to just the fuge as much as possible, as well as painted the first two baffles to block most of the light. My media bags had already started to grow pretty heavy...

Before and after. Did minor rearranging/scaping while I was in there, and added about another 5 pounds or so of sand since it was starting to settle/fall through to the lava rock (expected) What do you think? another way-too-long project. Sponge way too fine to move that much water through. kept playing and playing and it was doing ok if I had the pump turned up to %75 but even then I could tell the flow was drastically lower than before... so I ended up taking apart the sponge base and removing...

  20. My New 75 gallon

I got under there today to finish tidying wires, and while I was at it I figured I would move my majorly seeded sponge on to the intake like I’ve been planning... this allowed me to move the sponge filter out of my fuge, replace it with an air stone (I also have a small 10 gallon sponge in there...
