    Corner silicone has.... mould? Algae?

Yes, it could very well be a possibility. Although I have never had a problem with it personally I would recommend resealing the tank just to ensure no future leaks happen. It’s like rust on a car. It’s okay for a little while until it spreads and becomes a problem.

    Jmaldo's Discus Build

I noticed that as well. Maybe due to the dark substrate and background along with the additional driftwood and plants they look much deeper blue than when you first got them. All in all they look great and so does the tank! Keep up the good work! Lucky you got some nice dark rams also! 6]...

    Corner silicone has.... mould? Algae?

It’s definitely a mold under the silicone. I’ve had tanks like that before. As long as there is no leaks I haven’t had any issues with the discoloration. Just isn’t nice to look at. It’s imbedded into the silicone so it shouldn’t cause problems with fishes health. However for future assurance to...

20 Gallon Saltwater Nano Reef Tank

Yeah the lfs has a nice 220 display that they will be able to keep it in if things take a turn for the worse. It has honestly went from a shy little fish to swimming out and eating aggressively at feeding time. Literally attacks the food ones it hits the water. For the most part it stays hidden...

Thank you VERY much for that response!! It was super helpful and I will make sure to look over everything again over time. 20 Gallon Saltwater Nano Reef Tank

Yes I planned to add my designer clowns shortly. But I also have a plan if the damsel decides to get finicky I can re-home him to a lfs that has a wonderful sw section to keep it in. I had only intended on keeping it for the first month to ensure proper establishment of bb and keep the cycle...

    Question Fish Tank Mates

Depends on the goldfish and how often you feed and if the tank is planted or not. If you have a moderately planted tank you may be able to get away with it but I would advise lots of hiding places and pick some really pretty gold fish! 6]

    Help 125 Gallon Community.

Dang Dave nice to see you again lol any plans to add more angles with the males to see if you can get a female? Or just staying clear of the tank “drama” for the time being? But the acara would be a good bet on babies if you can make sure you’re getting a pair. But you would need a few extra...

I actually solved that problem the day of. I just needed to add more water. Haven’t had the foamy bubbles since then. Tank is clear and looks good. Added a yellow tail damsel a few days ago. Stays hidden in the rock scape but comes out to eat. Been feeding tiny pieces of brine shrimp cubes cut...
