I once went to Petco and half the tanks were empty with like 1 or 2 dying fish inside. There were these parasitic green worms attached all over the fish still alive. You could tell they had been feeding a long time because the works were a good inch long and a millimeter thick. Crazy ridiculous

Quite honestly, you should never have to ask a pet store employee for help, whenever you go, you should know exactly what you need and what fish are appropriate for you. This hobby is 90%, research 10% execution.
