Aw they’re both adorable! There’s something about catfish that makes them so funny.
Here’s my girl;
I just got her about 4 days ago, she's still behind the out take where I found her, I'm hoping she comes out to have some algae wafers.
I ended up finding her right at the top of my tank in the corner behind my out take pipe (I have a canister filter).. they're such funny fish I knew she had to be somewhere, and I did in fact look around on the floor around the tank just in case she crawled her way out!
My Bristlenose Catfish seems to be missing in my tank, I've lifted every pot and my large root system I have in the tank to no avail. She's also albino so I'm sure I'd be able to see her?
I was wondering if these guys can bury themselves in the sand? I have black sand substrate, my...
Hi there, sorry to hear about your losses.
How did you acclimate your neons to the tank? They are extremely sensitive to acclimation. What's your PH? Have you cycled your tank? Generally there'd be a reading of Nitrate, there doesn't have to be but in a cycled tank there usually is a very small...
My 165l is finally cycled and ready for fish! I'm after some suggestions on stocking, after some bright guys that are active.
I'm thinking of moving over some fish from my other aquarium as well which would be;
1 x corydora panda (will be getting 5 more)
3 x congo tetras (will be...
I'm looking to buy some Gold Rams online, but noticed the online store has local gold ram and import gold ram, does anyone know the difference? I'm from Australia so I'm assuming they're locally from here, I asked the store owner and he stated that imports are generally better...
Sooo he’s actually started to eat now! Not enthusiastically or anything but definitely eating, he ate bloodworms for me then today ate just normal flakes.
Doesn’t look like that vitamin is available in Australia, is there another brand that could be that would be good for him? Thanks!
They're all such little pigs I'm amazed, I have fully grown congo tetras in my large tank and they don't even act like that.
My pearl gourami is still the same, he's very happy but still not eating. He likes his new tank very much.
It really depends on your betta. I’ve had mine in a community tank for 3 months now and never had any issues, he was in with platies as well.
It’s going to be difficult to introduce safely as your betta has been introduced first, so he’ll see it as his territory. But again, all depends on your...
I had the exact same problem with my two praecox rainbows, they both died (would gulp for air at the top) then a few hours later be dead. My boesmanis that were in with them did perfectly fine! Wonder if there’s something going around?
Do you have a tank that’s cycled? I would put them in that as long as the stocking in the other tank is compatible with your new fish.
Unsure how long until it goes back to normal, it’s really just until when it decides to. The cloudiness doesn’t harm the fish at all. I only asked about...
