I have just bought two Jack Dempseys and after talking to the fish seller, he mentioned that I could get away with putting a blanket over the tank over night. I figured I would just buy a heater and it has kept it a steady 27 C day and night.

what fish to stock ( large)

Hello I have been indecisive regarding what to stock my 120G tank with. the tank is 5 foot long and 2 foot deep. I would like a single large fish, but not sure what yet, I was thinking a Flowerhorn. I have just started the first cycle so I am in no rush. Also the tank is an outdoor aquarium...

it is coming into winter so night time gets around 25 C (77 F) and 27 C during the day. And summertime is a steady 28-30 C (86 F). I am really liking Peacock Cichilds, However if I find a Flowerhorn, I will be hard pressed not to grab him
