Angelfish enjoy an aquarium of at least 29 gallons, preferably a 40 or 55. Single angelfish, pairs or schools are best. Never have 3 angelfish. It is best to have an even number of them, with the exception of one. They can be aggressive, though not often. They are fine with peaceful fish larger than an inch. Best tankmates include tetras(No nippy ones), plecos, catfish, and livebearers (they may eat fry). Best temperature for them is 78-82 degrees, and they enjoy tall plants to lurk in, as that is their natural behavior. They will eat flakes, all frozen foods, live foods (Not feeder fish) and pellets.
