Thanks the LFS also suggested your method of acclimation, so I'll try that first.

I'm letting it run for a while before adding anymore I don't want to risk it, so in case not cycled fully I'll give it more time. I'm going to start with two cardinals when I do add fish and see how they do for a while.

Yes they all died, most within 10 minutes. I'll keep that in mind for future about discarding their water. Called pet store today, they said I should have just got starter fish of damsels. Yes I did acclimate them. The Cardinals and Damsels were in same tank at pet store. I also had put hermit crabs, snails, brittle star fish, and shrimp in there and they're all doing good. I'm wondering if there water from the tank at the store was drastically different from mine.

Introducing fish for first time to tank and there dying off immediately. The pet store is closed and can't find anywhere to call that's open. The tank has been cycled and all water parameters are perfect. Anyone know what could be causing this?

Awesome because I do love my shrimp, used to have a boatload of freshwater cherry shrimp. Thanks hopefully they will have both types of snails. Yeah I haven't seen jawfish prices yet, not even sure if the pet store has them, I'll found out shortly. I'm used to gobies not moving much so that...
