    Help...what Is This??

That’s so neat! And it just appeared overnight?! It’s probably harmless so I wouldn’t worry. There’s so much that live in our tanks, most of it harmless. I also think it’s probably a worm of some sort.

    Question Swim Bladder Disorder

Can you test nitrite and nitrate? What kind of test kit do you use? Temperature? This is kind of all I can give you. I really don’t know what to do.

    Question Swim Bladder Disorder

@kellylovesfish Can you give us a full description of your care? There’s a rubric in the fish diseases section. Maybe someone who knows more about this species will see something.

Help Silver Patch On Betta Face

If he’s a koi betta his colours can change rapidly. If it’s just the colour and it doesn’t look like something’s growing on his scales than maybe that’s it. Maybe do a water change? There shouldn’t be any ammonia. I’m not very experienced, so this is just my two cents. Hopefully someone more...

    Question Swim Bladder Disorder

It depends on the cause of the issue, did you thoroughly review your care? If your husbandry is off definitely fix that. I’m not an expert so I’m not going to recommend any treatments until someone experienced chimes in. But I think if you reduced the flow from the filter it would make it easier...

    Betta Clamping Fin, Pale Spot

He’s back to normal now! I’ll wait until tomorrow to put the carbon back in the filter but I think we’re all good now.

    Betta Clamping Fin, Pale Spot

@Momgoose56 This morning the white spot was gone! He still seems to be a little stressed though, just hiding. I got some pictures for the potential Popeye though. Thanks again for your help!

    Betta Clamping Fin, Pale Spot

@Momgoose56 Alright, I’ll try putting him in a glass in the morning. I did a 40% water change and added some more Jungle fungus elimination since it seemed to help before. He seems to be better after that, but that white spot is still there. I’ll get some clear pictures of it, he just freaks...

    Betta Clamping Fin, Pale Spot

Yes, my tank has been cycled for a couple weeks. And I’m using the API master test kit, sorry for saying the wrong one. I will get another test kit. Popeye? Really? I thought his eyes looked a little puffed out but after comparing him to pics of healthy bettas I decided it was nothing. I’ll...

    Adf Fungus Eye

Also I didn’t add my levels because I broke my test kit. Still need to buy a new one. Will do that ASAP. Last time I measured they were all good. I do 40% water changes weekly.

    Adf Fungus Eye

Went to feed my African dwarf frogs but noticed my older frog thrashing around in the water. He keeps clawing at his eye and at a glance it seems he’s shedding on his eye but it’s clearly bothering him a lot and he shed just last week. He is still clawing at his eye even after he got the...
