ive been keeping saltwater reef tanks for about 8 years. Only keep nanos less than 25 gallons. Started with a 15 gallon display only. Have a 24 gallon drilled now. Tons of filtration. I’m on chemo so I’m not supposed to have my hands around the bacteria’s a lot. So I dose carbon and bacteria’s frequently and keep a fuge to keep phosphate and nitrates down till I can get off Chemo and get my immune system back. It’s working well so far. I still do water changes. I dose aquavitro elements. The tank is doing great with the carbon dosing and biopellet reactor with the Skimz skimmer and fuge backing it up.
