No, they are bumps not holes if you mean the rows. They are 100% symmetrical and the same diameter, it's a clear pattern.
He has had the large hump and the dot pattern on his head for most of his life and he's over 1.5 years old.
I did some research into it, I know what you mean now . He developed that when he was paired at the breeder I was told, he also got the rows on his head at the same time. I can't find any other info about his species getting them anywhere.
I have 7 Electric Blue Rams. They all look the same pretty much but this guy who I also bought as an Electric Blue Ram is really different..
1. He has a big hump on his head.
2. The big hump has two symmetrical rows of humps on it.
What is this guy? Is it a cross?
My Electric Blue Ram just developed this weird white spot near his gill. Ammonia and Niterite 0, Nitrate is 5 ppm and PH is 8. I just recently added other blue rams and fish that finished their quarantine to the tank he's in.
I was hoping someone could identify it.
