I doubt the water thing. The bettas are not lethargic or seem effected at all. But I'll try using other water sources then.
I gave him some methylene blue and its gone. So I'm not sure what that was about
I'm not new to betta keeping. I am well aware to not house 2 male bettas. I am setting up their tank as fast as I can but cleaning old betta tanks take time ^^
Their tank will be an 8 gallon and a 3 gallon as I'm not prepared and I'll use what I have til I get money. And of course the water is...
My 5yo cousing impulse bought 2 male bettas and we have no aquariums ready atm so they have been in a jar for 7 days. I'm setting up their tank slowly while being interrupted by school work.
I'm not sure how many liters are in the jar but I've been doing 100% water changes everyday
Of course! I love my animals and I'll always do my research beforehand
Well I don't :/ I've trying tI save up for an ammonia tester (first ) as they are pretty expensive here
Does daily water changes help?

It's a small local store and they don't have a website. I also can't go there till probably next month while the fish will be here today (I did not expect gettimg a fish). I wanted to use craft mesh but I couldn't find it. The board is pretty flimsy if that even helps determine what plastic this...
It's called fiber in my country (idk what's the english name) and it have a carboard structure to it. I have used a thicker one for an aquarium lid and it worked great. But is it ok to submereged it?
Thank you in advance ^^

I do water changes daily with water conditioner I had a whole thread consulting about my concern on cycling and test kit.
Also here test kit are very expensive...
Wait, isn't the waste of the fish a good enough ammonia source?
Also I did pour some of those bottled beneficial bacteria on the filter and spilled some in the tank
Also if I ever get a test kit (which is probably going to be a long time. They're expesnsive) how do I test without harming my...
