    I test around once a week or more since my tank is mature but if your tank isn't cycled yet you should probably test for ammonia more often I think he'll be fine if you leave him in for water changes. How is he doing now?

    Thanks everyone Fins, I made sure the lei was non toxic and not treated with anything and I've tested some of the homemade flower decorations with my own fishy and it seems fine, but that is good to keep in mind, maybe I'll make an annotation on the video then to be safe
