I didn't really notice it till it was too late. So no time to qt, plus my qt tank isn't in an operable state atm :/ but as for the water change. I just did about a 50% and filter maintenance. So i guess I'll see where it goes
They are lower now because the plants use them. I would never purposely add nitrate imo. Use normal ferts, and new plants are known to look bad for a while ball mine yellowed and died then regrew after a bit.
No pic. But from googling it, id say nematode is what it resembles. I only saw one. Searched for a while and it seems clear. Where do they come from?
I just noticed they are all over the glass tops. What the heck
I have 1 yellow/green 1 red 1 orange 1 purole and 2 pink tetra glo fish. I love mine. Active, bright, look awesome under moonlights. The other varieties dont do much for me. But the tetras are great, and just as hardy as a normal skirt tetra.
I am fully aware of the size issues. I didn't buy the pleco. I had a 6-7" one that i already rehomed, this one is 4-5", and eats an algae wafer a day. I have yet to find a home for this one, and the local pet store doesn't take fish..i'll probably get something like ottos instead of a bn, plecos...
My common pleco keeps getting snails in corners, and then running at them and hitting them, backing up and doing it again, or just wiggling his tail pushing them in the corner really hard. What gives??
