Only about a year's experience. I went from plastic plants to live plants including Cabomba and Anubias. I just discovered that Snails can also clean the leaves and the Anubia. I think real plants are the way to go. I recently introduced a german blue ram to my 29 gallon and he is now the mob boss of the tank. I feed my fish a combo of omni flakes, veggie flakes, community pellets, krill pellets, bloodworms and dried tubifex. The fish love the variety as well as weekly water changes.
