    Bored angelfish

Lol. Cute story about the bristlenose. Think I'll play it safe and get some tetras and see how it goes. Maybe some corys after that. Thanks so much for your help. I really appreciate it

    Bored angelfish

Some fish I've been considering are probably a bad idea, but I've made a list of them in no particular order of favorites: 1. Add one or three juvenile angels. Or 2. I have a very gentle (so far) 2 inch juvenile female gold gourami living in my cory cat tank that I can move over. Or 3. Four-six...

    Bored angelfish

I have a 3 year old female angelfish. She's about 4 inches total height including her fins. She lives with a 10 year old bristlenose pleco in their 66 gallon tank. It's the footprint of a 55, only taller. Smooth gravel substrate. Low light plants. The two fish rarely see each other. She seems...

Ich or fin ray fracture or?

Okay, I'm going to stop the Ich-x and keep a close eye on them for a while. Thank you so much for your help. I really appreciate it. My fish do too :)

Ich or fin ray fracture or?

Thanks and yup, I realize that 80 degrees won't kill ick, but it's supposed to speed up the ick life cycle somewhat. It's been 7 days since I first noticed that single spot. This gourami still has just one spot. The 5 cories and the other gourami in the tank have not had any spots. If it's ick...

Ich or fin ray fracture or?

I know the pic isn't the best. I tried. Spent over an hour trying to get a good one. She's too fast. Resorted to posting a screenshot of a video. I can't tell if the white spot protrudes. I guess what I'm hoping to find out is how long ich stays attached to a fish in 80 degree water. It's been...

Ich or fin ray fracture or?

I have 5 green cory aeneus and 2 gold gouramis (a mistake, thought they were honey gold ones) in quarantine in a 20 long. The tank has been set up for 18 months, was cycled fishless with ammonia & plants. Got these fish on 8/26. All were drip acclimated for 2.5 hours. Bought 6 Cory's, one...

Help please, strange looking Angel faeces

This is day 3 and now I know where it's coming from. Found 2 similar ones the past 2 days on the substrate. Turns out, this is poo of some sort from my male angelfish. My angels have had hex before, not recently, but this looks completely different. I don't know what to do about it. He,'s...

Help with API nitrate test results fishless cycling

I have good news & bad...The tank fully cycled on Monday. I was so excited. Tuesday I fell and broke my thumb. 6 weeks in a cast to look forward to. Think I should keep feeding ammonia to keep it going? Or call it a lost cause and let the bacteria die off? I'm so sad

Help with API nitrate test results fishless cycling

Our city water is so unnatural now. Used to be 3 kh, 4gh, 6.8 pH. A year ago they added something else to it, so now it's consistently 3 kh, 4 gh, 7.4 pH. It remains stable in my 60 by doing a 40 percent weekly water change. Can't find crushed coral or seashells that aren't coated available...
