    EMERGENCY! Goldfish fin rot! HELP!

I did recommend a medication in post #9 but i stand by pristine water to treat fin rot in the first instance. The med I suggested is hard on the kidneys, which is why it should only be used when absolutely necessary. As Riv says, there are many side effects and issues we don't want to encounter...

    Oh my goldfish!!!

I picked up these two guys from Dobbies Garden Centre. All their fish looked lovely and healthy, they had signs around the shop with information and advice on fish keeping, big posters about proper maintenance, it was awesome! These guys don't have names yet, but they are utterly adorable...

Those pictures do look more pointed, yes. My BN pleco is female and has no bristles whatsoever on her nose and she's coming up to three. Any way, I would start a thread with pleco ID in the title, there will be someone who can give you his exact type and usually an L number. I have a friend...

Petco dollar per gallon sale is on right now, if you have the funds to treat him, it's a good time. They come around often though so it won't be long until the next one! I think it only goes up to 55G though. I use my local facebook fish groups. They're brilliant for rehoming (and buying, and...

What are you treating with again? I know intent heat because of the hester but I can't find the med you're using. When Ich takes over, there is many, many spots. Spot doesn't look bad, just keep doing what you're doing. I dread the day my son realises that fish go missing occasionally. I lost...

Sorry, I didn't mean that badly. I meant they're closer to the white skirts than the black skirts. Are you sure they're dyed and not Glofish? http://www.glofish.com/about/faq/#science Sent from my KFARWI using Fish Lore Aquarium Fish Forum mobile app

They school better with their own kind, I think your guys would do better with white skirt tetra as theyre fairly pale. Although blacks and whites may school together, if you have enough of each, they will school.in their respective groups.**** Sent from my KFARWI using Fish Lore Aquarium Fish...
