There was a lot going on in my life and I just kind of let it fall apart. I feel awful. I have been dreading this part. I don’t have time to go to my lps because it is far away. I really wish I could do something else.
I'm taking apart my fish tank today. It is a 25 gallon freshwater. Everything kept dying, but I didn’t replace it. I only have three nerites left. I was kind of hoping they would just die. Now, I have to pack up my house and there is nowhere to put the snails. I can not give them away. Is there...
Thank you so much! Honey (very creative, eh) is very special to me because she has survived my learning of fishkeeping. I honestly don’t know how she is still alive. I’m hopeful I can make her home much better. I will probably add them in a few weeks. If I remember, I’ll update you!
When I was a little kid, my babysitter got me a book (cloudy with a chance of meatballs) and a pretty mug. This was all I had after she left and got married. My 4 year old sister took the mug and threw it down the stairs. I cried SOOOO hard
Thanks so much! I was worried that if it was a he, and I got another, I might have aggression. Should I add one or two more? Maybe I would add them a month or so apart to watch for aggression. How should I go about this? Also, any idea about the spot in picture one and 3rd to last? It has always...
This was my first fish in the 25 gallon tank. I assumed it was a he, but now I would like to know for sure. I’ve had him at least 8 months, and he has never been bright. He doesn’t eat anything I give him except for the kuhlI loaches pellets. He normally eats the algae, but my tank has FINALLY...
Okay. Great. If you don’t yet, GET A TIMER. This will help tremendously! If you do, great.
I suggest one Anubis for your tank. It is a very pretty plant.
Just remember, adding a bit more to the bio load might get rid of the algae. A snail would be best. Show your mom pictures of them...
They aren’t very active in the day time, but more so with a larger group. I have 8 KuhlI loaches in my 25. They have a tiny bio load, so you could do like 8 of them and the guppies.
THEY ARE ADORABLE LIL SNAKES
Agreeing with some others, you should...
1. Add a plant such as Anubis or sword. Don’t overdo it.
2. Lower lighting by at least an hour
3. Add Amano shrimp, or cherries. I prefer Amanos. They are always snacking!
4. Add a nerite snail.
How long are your lights normally on for?
Update: I’ve done the stress guard 3 more times. 50% pwc every time. He seems a bit better then yesterday and the day before, his all time low. I think I’ll try feeding bloodworms tomorrow. What about using salt?
