I don’t have a top on my high aquarium and I never saw one of my mystery snail close to the top or any eggs. But I do have a very large pogostemon stellatus octopus in one corner and it’s on the bottom behind that plant that I found the baby snails, which is probably why I didn’t see the eggs...

one morning I found 4 or 5 of those but they were too small to be positively IDed which is why I’m asking again for an ID now that they are bigger.
