  1. Buenos Aires Tetra With Weird Mouth

It's just strange that neither Kanaplex or EM helped when it should of if it was bacterial. Plus their behavior and eating are basically normal. All I really can think of is fighting or picking on something sharp while grazing for food. Watch them closely over the weekend, and maybe the...

Are you sure no fighting is going on?

Here is the list of medications that can be used.

If it was bad enough, it could take weeks for it to fully heal and look normal.

Behavior still good? Still eating like fish normally do? The picture look like mouth rot, especially with the grey lips, and also it's moving from fish to fish. That tells me it's bacterial. Now I do believe there is an aquatic flesh eating virus, but it's super rare for the hobby, and it...

Might as well, and rebuild your cycle on the quaritine. Just do a large water change and run fresh carbon for 24 hours to remove the EM from the quaritine.

All of them should do fine. Sorry, holidays, and it's busy at home. Then I forget to reply. I'm sorry.

You'll transfer the EM with it. To high of a risk in my opinion.

Need ammonia. You could try flaked food or pure ammonia to keep them fed.

If you put EM in your main tank, it will kill your cycle. Problem is, the bacteria is in there and needs to be killed. Can you move your filters to another tank to keep the bio filtration going? I would hate to have you redo the cycle in your main.

Stick with the EM for now. There isn't much that is stronger then that over the counter. It does look like it's healing though. The upper lips look almost normal color and fresh tissue. Not many fish have natural grey lips though, so keep an eye on the color. Yours might have naturally...

See the grey lips on the second one? That's the first sign of mouth rot. The second one still has it. I am not sure if the first one does or not. I see a little grey, but I can't tell for sure. Double check for grey lips like someone used eye liner on its mouth.

It's a little hard to tell from the pictures since when I zoom in, it gets really blurry, but what I can see, the damage size reduced by about 25% compared to the other pictures.
  14. Buenos Aires Tetra With Weird Mouth

Looks a lot better. Not so cottony. How's the appetite and behavior? Still normal?

As far as I know, no. I put my pothos through some crazy stuff, and it's a very resilient plant. So I do not think it should effect it. The only thing I know when using pothos in a tank is if the water gets to dark and the plant can't photosynthesize. Such as using Methylene Blue.
