  2. Id Please

Could someone ID this please, completely forgotten the name of it, remember it having something to do with either the sun or moon though
  3. Marine Life

I was just wondering what a good way to find out a way to find some of the weird and strange critters that get into your tank without you knowing. Like shining a torch in at night and seeing some worms has gotten my interest going. Is there any other ways? I've found a few shrimp in my filter...
  4. Id White Eggs?

I've got no idea, LFS had it labelled as "Snails" but the white things do look a lot like that, I'll try get an ID on the snail and find out, thank you
  5. Id White Eggs?

Yeah I was thinking a fungus aswell, but I'm not too sure about sexes of the fish, but 2 angels, 2black skirt tetras, 3 glass catfish, 1 snail (no clue what type) plus two striped raphael catfish
  6. Id White Eggs?

  7. How Quickly Do I Need To Do A Water Change After Starting My First Tank With Fish-in?

The higher the ammonia the more water to change, a good cycling amount is 25%, let the tank settle, retest and do another 25% if the ammonia readings are still high
  8. How Quickly Do I Need To Do A Water Change After Starting My First Tank With Fish-in?

I meant the ammonia, The bacteria will need a while to catch up with how much more waste their is in the tank
  9. How Quickly Do I Need To Do A Water Change After Starting My First Tank With Fish-in?

I'd invest in an API test kit, keep an eye on it daily and just do changes when needed
  10. How Quickly Do I Need To Do A Water Change After Starting My First Tank With Fish-in?

After adding fish the bacteria needs a while to catch up with the waste they're adding to the tank, it may spike suddenly due to this but should calm down in a few days
  11. How Quickly Do I Need To Do A Water Change After Starting My First Tank With Fish-in?

Go take your water into the lfs again and if theres a high ammonia reading do a partial water change, if there's none or it's very low I'd just leave it to do it's thing
  12. Beadlet Anemone

I've got a Clarkii clown in the tank already so I'm just keeping watch as best as I can, but I agree they do look lovely
  13. Beadlet Anemone

Yeah mate I'm kinda disappointed about them not hosting clowns Here's a couple pictures
  14. Beadlet Anemone

Alright so I ended up getting 5 Beadlet anemones and adding them to my tank not realising exactly what I've put in, after a bit of research I've realised where they come from etc but I can't find anything about how safe it would be in a tropical reef tank with fish, inverts and other corals.
  15. Anemone?
