Moving angelfish parents or the fry?

I think I will remove the parents when it gets to that 2 week mark if not sooner. Then I will let the babies grow out as much as they can in their current tank and then move them to a much larger tank. Thanks so much for taking the time to try and help me! ☺️

Moving angelfish parents or the fry?

Thank you for the very well thought out and informative response. My python syphon makes water changes a breeze so to answer your question I’m okay with daily water changes. I am definitely open to culling hard if I can’t raise them correctly. You would be correct about the cone. It’s all not...

Moving angelfish parents or the fry?

Hi guys! I have been doing more research about when to separate the fry from the parents. Other people have experienced the parents eating them at some point. From what I’ve found on the internet it says to remove the fry from the parents tank at around 2 weeks. Right now the parents are by...

    Angelfish fry! Help!

Thank you for the advice! I have been working 10s all week. Plus my aquarium lights shut off on a timer. I honestly had thought they ate the eggs previously. Next time I’ll try to be more observant after I know they have laid eggs. They seems to be really good parents. At first I thought they...

    Betta flaring at wall

My bettas definitely have done the same thing due to seeing their reflection. Totally agree with the others recommendation about non glossy white paper. If you have a planted aquarium you can also try some plants.

    My angelfish

If they are constantly prepping a spot to lay eggs it won’t be long. And you can definitely notice when the female is producing eggs due to being plumped up. It’s really cool to see them do their thing. My angelfish have their first ever babies today. My fry is in the free swimming stage. It’s...

    Angelfish fry! Help!

Okay so I have these two angelfish who connected very quickly. They previously laid eggs and ate them. This second time around I honestly thought they ate them again. So I get home today and look in my tank and low and behold I have free swimming fry in the tank! (See photo) Mom is definitely a...

Hi guys! I need some advice. I have many many baby mystery snails. I took the parents out to be cautious. I didn’t want the parents to squash them so I have them in another contain. I have 5 adult mystery snails. I have attached a photo of the babies in there right now. Please let me know if you...

    Clutch size and maybe fertile?

Well I appreciate your response! Lol that would be cool if they were fertile. Wish I knew why it’s so small though

    Clutch size and maybe fertile?

Hello all! I have some mystery snails that I’ve have for a few months now that I bought at petco. I’ve read a lot about them. I feed mine blanched spinach, cucumber and they seem to go for algae wafers. My questions are: Is there a reason why the clutch would be so small? And from the photo I...

    Possibly ich? Not sure though

Hey guys, My angel has this one spot on his fin that I have noticed lately. I think I see a few other spots on the other side of his fin that I couldn’t get a good photo of. They aren’t multiplying and non of my other angel fish have any white spots. ( I have been observing for at least 2 weeks...
