    Planted tank ick treatment

Hi. I recently had a guppy with ick and I did not separate her because probably other fish were infected by it as well. I added low amounts of salt, not too much because its planted, and there are Corydoras. I don't have a heater that I can change the temp, its only 26c so I don't think I can...

    Help with Bully Mollies

Though first try if it stops being aggressive. If it still is I would recommend the same idea with BigManAquatics.

    Help with Bully Mollies

You can maybe add more live plants for hiding spaces. If this does not help maybe check on your feeding. Sometimes when fish feel hungry, they become aggressive. This happens with my male guppies.

    Corydoras not swimming

Yea and the Corydoras couldn't even swim well so I treated with salt if there are any external parasites, or other disease since he was sick so his immune system was probably pretty weak at that point.

I add salt if there are any other disease the fish has that the salt can sometimes help. I don't put it always, only when I feel like the fish has many problems.

    Corydoras stocking

Would it work in a 16 gallon. I'd say its not long nor high. It is 23"x12", and the height is 14inch.

    Corydoras stocking

I am not planning on upgrading so I think I won't get any. But if pygmy's worked in a 15 gallon which has neons, and some guppies that would be sweet. But anyways, thanks for the replies.

    Corydoras stocking

I agree. So are there any species that can live in a tank that is less than 20 gal or bigger. I though agree that a bigger tank is better.

    Corydoras stocking

Hi, So one thing I want to talk about in this thread is stocking Corydoras. A lot of people say the tank should be 20 gal+ but some people stock in a 10 gallon with Pygm Cories or other small bottom dwellers. But my question is, if they are bottom dwellers why would they need so much space. I...

    Corydoras not swimming

Bad news: 1 died. Good news: The other one can now maintain its body, and now isn't on his side. He also ate some of the food that I put a day ago.

    Corydoras not swimming

I can agree with the peas. What could I feed him, I did not feed him anything today, and I don't know if he can even reach the food since he is just on his side.

What could help? And is my Corydoras on there sides a sign?

    Corydoras not swimming

I don't have an ammonia measuring kit right now, though I will buy one. I have normal test strips rn and it shows 0nitrite 10-15 nitrate. I will try to buy a good test kit like API's. My tank is a 16 gallon tank and it was running for 4-5 months now. I bought the Bronze Cory's the same day. I...
