20 Gallon Tank Kuhli Loach Behaviour

Awww that's so cute XDDD only one of my kuhlis does it, but they hang on my hornworts like they're jungle snakes XDDD

20 Gallon Tank Kuhli Loach Behaviour

Ahh, thank you! I don't know why, but my Kuhlis are the opposite of what I've read. My Kuhlis are not active at night at all, I went to watch them at night, but all they did was stay under decors and plants; barely moving too. But at day they're foraging out but always near a hiding spot. And as...

20 Gallon Tank Kuhli Loach Behaviour

I just got six Kuhli Loaches for about eight days now, and they all seem to acting fine. Though I gotta say, one of them is super hyper, I don't know whether to worry or not. It's super adventurous compared to the others but super jumpy as well. Anyways, I was feeding the fishes in the tank...

20 Gallon Tank Problem - Gluttonous Neons

My problem is my honeys don't go to the top for food, they like getting their food when it floats down; problem is my neons would get there before the honey opens its mouth. And surprisingly, my kuhlis are far more active at day (besides one of them who swims around really fast, super jumpy) I...

20 Gallon Tank Problem - Gluttonous Neons

My 14 neon tetras are such gluttons. They have some tank mates: 2 honey gouramis and 6 kuhli loaches. The problem is, they try to eat EVERYTHING. They don't leave out any food for the other fish. But that's not the only problem, they bloat up too (and one of them can't swim properly after...

What should I name my new betta fish?!

In my opinion, I would name him Cyrus. I got this idea from "Solar Cycle," since your betta has colours of sunsets, dawns, and in general, the sun. Plus, your betta might change colour eventually, which the "cycle" comes in. I searched it up, and luckily, "Cyrus" also means "The Sun."

How long can this be off, my cycle may have died

I don't think you need to worry about an hour or two of turning off the filter. Shouldn't have done much harm unless the cartridge (or wherever the beneficial bacteria resides) dried off for a long time or you're heavily stocked. Otherwise, I think it's not much to worry about

    Mystery snail eggs and poop

Awww, they're so cute together XDDD (Btw, your betta looks absolutely amazing, that shiny colour is just wow) Bettas are so beautiful, if only they weren't so unpredictable and aggressive they would be in every tank I'm hoping the day where my betta goes on a rampage with my ember tetras never come

Worms in tank - not sure if planaria or detritus

I agree with what everyone else said. If it's just detritus worms, it would be just a nice snack for your betta. First time I got my betta, that was his main food source as I didn't give him much fish food to begin with. These worms usually show when a fish tank is being given more food than...

    Mollie suddenly larger??????

I've never experienced dropsy with any of my fish, but through research, it seems that dropsy isn't really contagious. HOWEVER, there is no cure for dropsy and can be fatal (death). Recently, I read about somewhere here about betta who got dropsy, but somehow recovered. What the owner did was...

    Mystery snail eggs and poop

My betta doesn't mind shrimps; he's genuinely curious about shrimp actually. But this time, I'm the problem. I just can't keep shrimp.

    Mystery snail eggs and poop

Yeahp~ Glad I could help XDDD You're lucky you get so much eggs, my female aggressively REFUSES to mate. She hakes my male mystery off as if its the end of the world XD

    Mystery snail eggs and poop

To be honest, I think it's up to your preference, especially for your own unique snails too. For me I would cut back the days I feed them as it is less work. And it makes them search for their own food, which MIGHT end up with the snail eating left over food or algae (so cleaner tank). You...

    Mystery snail eggs and poop

Im my opinion, that's already a lot. The mystery snails already have food you can't see in the tank, feel the decors and gravels, there's always some sort of things growing there that they'll eat. I feed my snails sparingly as they eat leftover fish food as well, not to mention, they also eat...
