I am 68 years old ,married to the same guy for 49 years, moved from Mass to Fla 6 years ago, have 2 dogs, a cat, a quaker parrot, a females african red bellied parrot, a yellow sided green cheek conure, and a spanish timbrado canary. I had my first fish tank a 10 gal with guppies at about eight or nine, In my early 20's I bred and raised fancy guppies for my local lfs. then I did a couple of twenty longs with oddball tropical fish, Then I got into turtles, and a camen for awhile. He was cute and the kids used to call him Jolly Charlie because he always looked like he was smiling. Then life got in the way and I had another 29 gal for a few years then a few years later I got a Betta and ended up with eight .when they died of old age no more fish until 2 mo. ago when I got the urge again so here I am feeling like a newbie because all of this is brand new to me and I have been scouring the forums trying to figure out all this new fangled way of fishkeeping
