    Pseudomugil Furcatus

I do the same thing, but take some pictures too. But to find a place that has stuff I haven't seen in person, I need to go a hour away. None of my close LFS carry anything too interesting or special, just the typically seen common fish.

Tall Plant For A Low Light Tank?

Egeria densa and anacharis are also some other plants to look into.

    Corydoras For 20 Gallon Long

Yeah, after a few mins though, they usually come back out and act as they normally behave. I agree though, fish behavior can vary by a lot for the same species, just best to do research and find what the general consensus is.

    Pseudomugil Furcatus

I know furcatas can be a bit aggressive in the aspect that dominant males bully lesser males pretty bad. So personally I would up the number of furcatas to 12, plus with more you can get more interesting behavior as in more flashing but not have it stress the lesser males out as much. There is a...

    Corydoras For 20 Gallon Long

My pygmaeus school have a tank all to themselves minus a colony of orange sakura neos and some amanos, plus there's lots of plants sine it's my high tech set up. The tank is in my bedroom, on the opposite wall of the door as well. They're fine and out and about until I come within 1-3 ft of the...

    Corydoras For 20 Gallon Long

Habrosus corys will swim in the middle of the water column, just not as much as pygmaeus does. From what I've seen and experienced though pygmaeus are also a lot more shy than habrosus corys. Habrosus are also slightly larger but the size difference isn't that much. Overall I like the...

Other leaves to look into are magnolia, guava, mulberry, oak, and you can even look in alder cones.

40 Gallon Planted Tank, 90 Days In

I would for sure up potassium and iron, both are really important to plant growth, when one is being used up to almost deficiency level, the other is probably right behind it as well. The same happened with my staurogyne until I raised both dosages of iron and potassium. But it looks great...

I Think This Is My Final Decision But Not Certain

Your stocking looks good in my opinion. But you might want to up the numbers for some of them, but some of the temperature ranges the fish prefer don't match up. Platys and zebra danios like the low 70's and everything else likes the higher range 70's. Pearl gouramis if kept in a group would do...

5.5 Gallon Cherry Shrimp Tank Build

Looks great. I have an aquascaped 4 gallon for orange sakura neos and I've learned a few things from that tank. Leaf litter is very important for shrimp, as it breaks down it creates an area for bio-film to build up. More bio-film=more food. After adding leaf litter into my tank it seemed I...

    20g High Shoaling Fish

From some personal experience with emperor tetras, I learned that male and female ratio is pretty important, so is the number of males. Dominant males can be very assertive and aggressive towards less dominant males and females to where they stay in a corner constantly. I found that at least 5...

Buce is a pretty great plant. I have maybe 10 different buce. Then soon I plan on getting 4-8 more different ones, some pretty rare ones too. They’re pretty easy to take care of and if you put them in the right area, you can get reds, blues, purples and gold colors to show up.

So lately I’ve been working on the waterchange station and getting stuff for that. And I’ve been working on my 29 Gallon tank’s buce collection and growing out some crypts for when I redo it to be a low-medium Light tannin tank.
