My Zoa's

Here's a few photos of my zoa's. The regular green centered zoa's are taking over the tank slowly. LOL

That last pic looks like a well manicured lawn of zoanthids! How cool is that. Nice pics.

Andy that is absolutely BRILLIANT!

I love the last photo

Does your tang mow that lawn of zoas each day?

Looks great. I just snagged some "007 Golden Eyes" and have a decent sized list of 'designer' zoas I'm looking for. Definitely more exciting than the stuff available at local stores (brown/green/orange).

Thanks everyone. I was going to clean the glass, but the snail looked hungry. LOL

@Matt, no the tang has never picked at the zoa's.

Haha Okay

Who is the lawnmower that keeps that lawn of zoas so neat and manicured then?

Andy. How long have you had those zoas and how many did you start off with?

That is amazing how they are taking over the tank. Soon all your fish will have to fight for their food and defend their country against the Zoas.

LOL. Just joking.

This colony all started from a single rock that I placed on the left side of the tank. The rock broke in half so I place the broken piece on the right side of the tank.

This photo was taken in March 2008.

At that time none of the zoas were on the bottom of the tank.

Those zoas are crazy. I need more yellow like that in my tank ! Looking for blue zoas also. Don't forget to take photos, if you haven't already.

Haha, haven't actually picked them up yet. On another forum a guy was breaking his tank down and posted stuff up for sale. Another member called dibs first but I offered to "split" it with him so we each get 5 polyps. I get that and a Deresa Clam on the 10th, all for a total of $40!

Yesterday I was up in Atlanta and picked up a few new pieces of SPS and also got some "Lord of the Rings" zoas, but they haven't fully opened up yet...
