sick danio

i have 2 zebra danios, 2 golden danios (i thought they were male zebra danios originally doh!). they were fighting alot and one of the zebras had been injured last week, so with the advice giving to me by the people here i went out and got 2 new danios last week. this time leopard danios. they are schooling fine now and the aggression has gone in almost an instant.

but in the time of me leaving my house and coming back with 2 new danios one of my golden danios is swimming at a 30/45 degree angle i dont know if it has suddenly fallen sick or it had been injured while the fighting was still going on. i was thinking whats the best thing to do. i have left it over night and it hasnt improved. its still swimming fine just at an angle

i dont know weather to separate it form the other fish the only thing i could do would be to get a fighting fish box and put it in my tank but a fish that energetic would be suicidal in a box that small?

my danios certainly keep my life interesting!

Hello Feehan. It does sound like he may have been injured by other fish. If you aren't seeing any visible signs of disease, fungus, bacteria then I would just keep my eye on it. Injured fish can fall prey to other healthy fish very easily. Quarantine may be a good idea if things don't improve soon.
Best wishes for you and your fish.

It may have possible died and the other danios have eaten its carcass, But it may be in your filter i have had my danios somehow get in my filter before.
