There are a very limited number of products that actually speed up the cycle. There's Tetra SafeStart, and I believe there's one that was developed in Europe. The others use enzymes or terrestrial nitrifying bacteria, neither of which will actually cycle a tank.
If using Tetra SafeStart, the fish can be added pretty much right away, I think.
The reason zebra danios are often suggested as tank cyclers is because they're hardy and can withstand some
ammonia. However, this doesn't mean they're not uncomfortable or ill, which is why the folks around here suggest using TSS or some other fishless method of cycling.
