Killer Danios or Killer Shrimp??

I have 6 Danios all fairly big and some a bit fat to be honest, 2 Ghost shrimp, one of which is a good 3 inches bigger than the other. I added 3 Guppies into my tank last week. 1 has gone missing, presume finished off by the Shrimp, can find him anywhere. The other 2 guppies have had the bottom half of their tales nipped off. I have been watching but I have not seen any signs off nipping from the Danios on the Guppies or the Shrimp going for them. Any Idea who the likely culprit is?

Also have a 3-4inch pleco and half a dozen snails that all seem happy enough and are left alone.

How long were you watching them? You should try setting up a webcam to find the suspects. It could be the shrimps because danios can't really eat up a guppy and make it disappear! Shrimps can! Try the webcam!

Good luck!

I'm thinking either the Danios killed the guppy then the Shrimped had a snack from the rest.

I'm still not 100% sure if it is a ghost shrimp but I will try and catch a pic of the chap

(someone please correct me if im wrong) this is not a ghost shrimp... this more or less looks to me like a type of crayfish and they can be quite agressive!!!! I went to petco the other day and they had one of these in a goldfish tank... he was attacking the poor goldies and attempting to get them with his claws!!!!!!! I would definately say this guy's the guilty one...
