if you shut off tank lights and light in room at night making the tank completly dark aand you kee the lights off for about 15 minutes and you turn on the light if you look closely you will see that they have grown wiskers its pretty cool to look at

really i wasnts aware of that although it does make sense i dont like when the lights are turned on when im sleeping

You can turn off the lights when you're asleep...lights on 24/7 isn't really good for them either (especially if you have live plants). Just be careful if you're one of those people that stays up until 2am. Make sure you at least turn the lights off to the tank so they can settle in. You'll know when they're "asleep" because they tend to stay at the bottom floating instead of swimming, or hiding somewhere.
