I bought 6 zebra danios for my new tank at the weekend; unfortunately one of them got an infection almost immediately and died while I was at the shop buying medication! The other 5 all seem healthy and happy, but I've noticed that 4 of them all school together whereas the 5th is significantly smaller and doesn't seem to like hanging out with the others. He seems active enough, and they aren't picking on him, but he tends to swim around on his own towards the bottom of the tank while the others all swim together further up. Is this anything to worry about, or will he fit in better when he gets older?

maybe when he matches the others in size but not likely, the smaller one might get jaded as far as hanging out with with the others so it'll probably develop a sort of hate for the bigger ones, but then again he might be eager to hang out when hes bigger, I hope it works out but you might want to find other options if its going to bug you that he swims by himself.
