Hi, I am new here and would appreciate

your help. I have a new tank that I have basically fininished cycling. I put my first fish in Thursday, I have decided to make it just glofish. I started with 3 glow fish and everything seems to be going well, but I keep reading conflicting information about proper water conditions. Please let me know the ideal temperture and ph for danios. Thanks.

Welcome to Fishlore.
danios (at least zebra danios) are one of the most forgiving fish when it comes to pH. As long as it is stable and not too extreme, they'll be ok. 6.5-8 is what Fishlore lists. This should fall well within the range of most tap water. It's important to note that you don't want to use pH Up or pH Down (or similar products). They don't do anything to actually change the pH in the long run, they just mess with water hardness and make the pH less stable.
They also are more forgiving when it comes to temp. A range of 65 to 75 is good. Personally, I would set it at around 72, since that's a good temp for most tropical fish.

temps between 72 and 80 are fine for them and unless you plan on breeding them dont worry about ph.

Ah, the upside of a genetically engineered, proprietary fish. Above is an official link to care and feeding for GloFish (TM). They have a wide range of temperatures that they can survive in (which would have aided in their original purpose), but Wolfgang has their preferred temperature exactly.

Thanks for the help. When I started the tank I was

thinking about goldfish, but after seeing glofish, I decided that was a better fit for my tank. I had raised my ph, but now I will gradually lower it with water changes. I think I will keep the temperature between 75 and 76.
