YoYo Eating Habits

Hello, I recently purchased some YoYos, and I am worried that they are not getting food. At first I placed some tablets in, but they don't even appear to notice them. Are they eating them when I'm not looking? If not, what should I do to get them to eat the food? My other fish seem to enjoy the tablets, but I want the loaches to eat the tablets.

Until they get over being shy drop food in when you turn the lights out. They need lots of hiding/sleeping places to feel comfortable. Mine loved shrimp pellets and thawed frozen blood worms.
In a while they will get too big for the 20g long since they get 5-6 inches long and can get quite chunky

Yes I have dropped food in when the lights are off, but they still seem like they aren't eating it. I dropped some in one night, then I turned on a flashlight and the gourami was eating the tablet.

How long have you had them? do they appear skinny? Most healthy fish will find food to eat if there is any in the tank at all

This will be my third day with them. They don't look very skinny they actually look somewhat chunky.

The tank is still new to them . Give them at least a week. Keep an eye on water parameters as Loaches are really sensitive to water conditions.
