Yoyo loach compatible tank mates?

Was wondering what experience anyone might have had with yoyo loaches and what are some compatible tank mates. I've researched them and have gotten conflicting info from other sites, some saying they are "active" but otherwise peaceful. Other sites saying they are aggresive and go after and nip other fish such as corys and other slow moving fish, even sometimes killing them. Right now I have a Dwarf Gourami, 6 cardinals, and 3 panda corys. I gotta snail problem and thought they might help. Thanks.

This is the most reliable place there is for information on Loaches

Everything you have is compatible with them. They prefer to be in groups and I would recommend three of them but that might over stock your tank as they can get at least five inches or a little larger. They are active and curious fish but active doesn't mean aggressive.
If your buying them just to solve a problem it might be better to solve the problem another way. If you truly only want them for this reason you would be stuck with several fish you don't want after the problem is fixed. Hope that helps.

I have yoyo's, I just LOVE them. we started with two and recently added a third. I think they are happier as 3.
we have various tetras, angelfish, plecos, they were with otos and large snails. they dont hurt any of them. they do occasionally chase one of the angelfish but never nip them. they are hilarious to watch tear around the tank chasing each other

I have no idea if they will eat plant snails. we had a few freeloaders come in on my last batch of plants and i havent seen them since, but that doesnt mean they arent there!

I agree with Butterfly, I wouldn't buy them just to solve the snail problem if that's what your looking for. However, they will probably be compatible with all of the fish in your tank, what size tank is it?
