Hello all :)

Hello everyone I'm pretty glad I found this forum when I did. I'm currently re-doing two of my three fishtanks in my house and I'm looking for some opinions. We also might be starting back up another tank that has been off for a while.

Here's a little about me. My name is Erica and I'm 18 years old. I've grown up with fishtanks my whole life so I've learned little bits and pieces here and there throughout the years. Then I've also experimented with a 10 gal and a 50 gal freshwater on my own. Then since last summer I've worked at a couple different pet stores and the one I currently work at focuses mainly on fish.

Here's a little about my current fishtanks.....

150gal Saltwater: This tank is mainly my mother's although I take care of it she just buys the fish and food. (please excuse my very rough spelling of these names) Some of the fish I have in this tank are a couple different tangs, a breeding pair of clowns, a trigger, a spotted grouper, an angel (I forget the exact type), then a couple smaller cheapy starter fishes that have lived since we started the tank. Then there is a few different crabs, shrimp, and snails in there as well.

90gal Freshwater: This tank was also mainly my mother's. But I have decided to take over this tank because my mom mainly focus's on the saltwater and it has gotten really boring and pretty much sad how ugly the tank is. There are three Parrot Cichlids in this tank and a pretty decent size pleco. Then to give you an idea of how boring it is all there is besides fish are three plant/rock type decorations. I'll clean the tank and take a photo soon.

10gal Freshwater: This is my personal little tank in my room. But I kind of let it go. I usually have guppies and mollies in it but I had them for years and they slowly started to die off with age and I never got back around to buying more fish. I plan to start this tank back up after I fix up the 90 gal tank.

The I also have 50 gal saltwater that we had before we got the 150 that we transfered everything over from. But ater that we havn't even used this tank but I think we're going to start it back up and put corals in it.

Well that's a little about me

I'll deffinatly get some photos but they're all pretty dirty right now so I'm going to clean up the freshwater and get some photos. The saltwater I believe is decently clean so I'll probably be okay to take a picture.

Betas are great fish I love them. I started out with a beta as "MY" first fish. Like the first fish I took care of on my own. And he lived for ever he actually just recently died so he was about 8 years old? We have some really cool ones were I work right now they're bright orange and blue they're called dragon something betas they're amazing. I might get one to start with in my 10 gallon tank.

I probably won't get around to cleaning the tank and such until after work tonight. For a decoration idea I'm thinking about going to lowes and getting a docorative pot plant and breaking it and putting it in the tank.

I'll be cleaning later tonight so after I get them up I'll post some photos (hopefully, if I can find the camera) but I just got off work and was surprised that my mom came and visited me and so I had her buy some freshwater fish for her tank and then I bought some so we're adding 6 new fish to the 90 gal I'll put photos of them up soon as well.
