Good Day Eh!

Good day all,

New member here, I've been reading through several posts and have already learned lots.

I kept fish when I was a youngster and I recently got back into the hobby. It started with a 10 gallon for my 4 yr old daughter (Christmas present), and now I recently purchased a 150 gallon tank for me.

My tank isn't set up yet, and I plan on taking it slowly so it will likely be a few months before I actually put fish in it. The plan is lots of plants and lots of tetras and barbs - I want a fun, active, colourful tank.

When I purchased the tank (second hand, but never used) it came with a Fluval 403 and an underground filter system - I know that this is insufficient and I plan on going with a wet/dry sump filter. Which is why I joined here as I need to learn all I can on how to build my own.

So if you have any advice - I'm all ears!

Thanks and take care all,
Aaron
