Hello from Istanbul,TUR

Hello dear guys, this is Tamer from ıstanbul,TUR.

I am very new with this hobby, have got an 60 liters tank (15gallon) and breeding:
* 1 male, 3 female Molly,
* 2 Ghost shimp,
* 2 Corydoras,
* 1 Hillstream-loach,
* 1 Inca snail.

For the present, everything seems fine but I wish that I will not get any trouble with my lovely fishes. At this time I am collecting informations about freshwater and live-bearer basics. I found this site on the net just 3 days ago. It seems that there are many of helpers here. Thanks verym uch in advance for your advices.

Welcome to FishLore!!
I see that you just started your tank.

It's very important that you learn about the Nitrogen cycle

You will need a good test kit. The API Master kit is highly recommened. Avoid the strips, they are inaccurate.

Good luck!

Hello again,

Thank you very much for your warm welcome messages. Regarding nitrogen cycle, its is my top task to evaluate in this weekend. I guess that the habitat in my tank is like a closed system and there is just only little water. So it has high probability to be effected by the water for the inhabitats. Therefore I should strictly follow chemical rates of the water.

In parallel way to this community, I am also member of a domestic fish care forum. I did not find any popular information about cycling on there. So I think that I should pay a detailed search on the site. Because I see that I need some tools for cycling but don't know where I can find them in the city.

That's exactly right, it is a closed system and if we're not careful toxins can build up quickly.
Not everyone has access to good testing equipment. You might have to order it on line.
