Hi I am new to fish lore i foung this site will surfing the web about fish species. I looked over the site for a few weeks and now just registered to be member. I am a 2nd time newbie of 6 monthes to the past time, i used to keep fish before and then college and work were to much to do and properly keep fish so i gave the away, but now i am back to the hobby and rediscovered why i love it so. I never had a marine tank before and i am interested in starting one reef tank and one community tank. If any one has any great suggestions on sites, forums, books, etc. please let me know. Thanks

I would suggest you start with freshwater first to get back in the swing of things. Freshwater is much more forgiving than salt when you make a mistake. A book that is highly recommended by another forum and is suggested to anyone thinking about a saltwater tank is The Conscientious Marine Aquarist: A Commonsense Handbook for Successful Saltwater Hobbyists by Robert M. Fenner.
