Hello all,

Just found this website! wow...a lot of information here. And I thought my Mazda 6 club was doing well at 1500 ppl strong....

Anyways, been working with my dad's tanks for years, but just very recently started a small tank of our own so that my daughter had something to claim as hers.

She absolutely loves going to Granpa's house to see the "FEEESH", so "Granpa" gave me a 10 gal complete setup to start her up.

All is well, and things have progressed smoothly. Again, I appreciate the wealth of information here. Everything from fish sizing to plant sizing and all the stuff in between.

what kind of fish did you get to start it out with?

Thanks iPhork. My 2 yr old...wanted goldfish. I tried to convince her of other fish...but she was bent on the goldfish. So thats what we did. She's happier than could be, and helps me feed the fish with my very close supervision (I portion control and put in her hand).

Picks will be up shortly. Little fingers up rooted the plastic plants last night, so I hot glued the plants and ornament to the UGF...the water is slightly disturbed today.
