hes about 10 inches long, an old girlfriend gave him to me about two years ago, when I was about 16, and she had him about two years before that, so he's about 4 1/2 years old give or take. they're pretty hardy fish in my opinion.

Hi and welcome to the forum! I wanted to get a pleco for my 10 gallon, but it will get too big for my 10 gallon.. Maybe the really smalls once like ottos. Hope you have a good time here.

well, my pleco is in a ten gallon, and it seems to do pretty well in there, although ive seen a 18 inch long pleco before, so i dont know how well one would live in a 10 gal being that big.
