Thunder

Hi, I just want to say how excited I am that Thunder has not been taken in registration. I'm new here and Thunder's my nickname since '03. I've been caring for tropical fishes and goldfish for years. Now I am getting back into the hobby after moving into the 3rd apt. I should be settled here for years now.

For now I've set up a 10gal tank with a couple of red GloFish. The tank is nearly 2 feet and the setup is spacious enough for them. That will be all I'll be keeping in that tank. There will be some minor adjustments with the setup.

Soon, I'm planning on setting up a 55gal to have 20-25 green GloFish. The setup will be dark. Black sand or gravel, black background (maybe a black designer background rather than plain), black/silver plants, some purple plants. There is some bright blue jelly (or whatever material it is) plants at PetSmart that moves around in water flow like a saltwater anemone. Hideaway decor will be dark or matching colors. I plan to make it look really hi-tech and awesome. Basically, it's hard to explain, so when I get that done in few months, I'll take videos and pictures.

That's basically what I have planned for now. I don't feel like getting back into with the other fishes. I'm fed up with caring for Goldfish. So... GloFish it is for me now.

I'll be on here to read and stuff, maybe to ask for help. I came upon this place reading up on GloFish and setup ideas.

I had 2 bunnies at the time and I had an old Yahoo ID with both of their names in it. People called me Thunder for short, so it just stuck with me. I started using that nickname in a deaf group online, so yeah, it became my nickname widely online and in person. Even my work tags include Thunder on it.

I took 1st day pix of the tank with my phone and uploaded them, but I have to wait until I'm able to access those on the account online when I get the 20 bux prepay card again soon.
