Posted by: okami789...Help: my great aunt ate my future dojos? O.o

ummm..... well, for a long time iv'e been begging my mom for a pet bunny (i cant help it im a kid kids beg), and she just got so tired of it that she said "fine!" in this really snappy voice, talked in some very rapid korean to the pet lady and she plopped a bag of fish in my hands and i said "ummm. mom? im pretty sure thats not a bunny" but ya, she already paid and all that.

for a long time i did research and all the neon tetras died and i still dont know that much about fish despite my work.

but the point is, my great aunt offered to give me a few dojos ~ common in korea ~ so i said ok, but im not sure about it ~ would they bother/hurt/eat my zebras? the snails, im ok with being gone, but my zebras? no way. iheard that dojos are nice, but im not sure.....

i didnt know, and my great aunt went and ATE them - cooked up a big dojo stew (again, common in korea) - and now whats left of them is in my freezer.

next year she might buy some more to umm.... eat, and before she does could someone tell me if i could put them i the same "tank" (for me just a big plastic container - im a kid i cant afford a tank) - before they get eaten?

if they can't, well ya. they get eaten. but if they can, then woohoo~! for both me and them.

btw, ummm... im new to this site..... is such a long thread ok?

EDIT: Original post deleted in error ...I applogize okami789

Please upload some pics. Interesting story... my own cultural bias confused me while reading it.

Dojo Loaches can grow a bit but they are usually peaceful and rather be kept in a school with water temperature somewhat colder than tropical fish.
