hi to all I got a few questions

let me start by saying this Is a great forum.I got into
this hubby two months ago, i got a 55 gal fresh water
tank with an emperor 400 and a Rena xp2 canister.after
adding the canister the water became cristal clear.I have
four goldfish(1comet,3exotic) and two algie eaters.the comet
is the biggest @4". I will be moving to a 100gal tank
next month and will like to add other types of fish. which
will you recommend. I know people who have angels with
goldfish with no problems, I was thinking of adding two
angels. what you guys think?

welcome to fishlore!!!!!!

goldies are more of a cold water fish and angels are a tropical...they require different temps and although they probably can exist with eachother, not keeping the proper tank requirements for the type of fish, can shorten their lifespan and cause major stress..which in turn can cause allot of other issues...

how about keeping the 55 for the angels? and do a 100 gal goldie tank and maybe some minnows?

If I were you I would add some dojo loaches since they enjoy the cooler water. You could add some rosy minnows or something but be aware, the feeder minnows will live up to their name, mine did. My LFS carrys bullfrog tadpoles, you might want to look into those.
Btw welcome and beware, get one tank and you will need another like a crack addict needs drugs

Welcome to FishLore! I agree with Gouramiguy17's idea that a bullfrog tadpole would be an interesting choice. However, I would only go that route if you have somewhere to put the bullfrog once it's no longer a tadpole. I guess you could add it to a pond.

bullfrog tadpoles actually can stay a tadpole its whole life, if it desires.... Just an interesting fact

I think a 100gal will goldies and rosies and dojo loaches would be really cool! Then a trio of angels in a 55 would be really cool too.... what are number are we on? lol
