Welcome to fishlore!! I really think the best way to solve your problem would be to add the 2.5 foot Carp from our pond. You see, they really don't need to have their entire body in the tank, just the head/gills. I think it'd be so cool to see him in there with your Oscars, Arowana's, Pacu's, Pleco's, Bala's, Male betta's, etc...

oh, and nevermind that he's a coldwater fish....as long as you keep the water at 212 degrees F they all cook the same way.


I think it was quite clever...not necessarily nice ....but clever to grab our attention with the 10 gallon Pleco. Somebody has been watching this forum closely.

Here's a new one for the dictionary:

10 Gallon Pleco: Mythical creature supposedly being a Common Pleco that can thrive in a 10-40 gallon tank. There have been no confirmed sightings.

I'd draw a line at the carp. They produce too much waste.
