Thought I'd introduce myself in here. I went straight to freshwater fish to post about my newly conceived project but have decided it was a bit rude not to introduce myself.

I've currently got an 8g coldwater tank which has been going well for about 18 months. I would now like to add a community tropical tank.

I think so far I have decided on a freshwater 32g but I am very open to ideas. It will be very much a slow moving project.

Anyway, that's me for now! Like I say, I am open to ideas and would very much like all comments.

Take Ease,
LarryK

Welcome...you are in the right place and we all have ideas....and good ones, so save room for more tanks.

In my opinion I think, go for 1 larger tank.....step it up to a 55 gallon long. Lots of easy accessable work space and room to make different Bio areas at each end...ie rocks and caves...heavey plantings and a clear area...playground for the fish. Petco just had the long 55's on sale.

Ted, I wish I could mate! MOney and room won't allow. I'll get there one day though, when the kids are older!
