Hey everyone! I've been lurking for a little while, and I just wanted to say how thankful I am for finding this site and all the wonderful, helpful information provided!
My addiction started with the kids asking to get a fish, and me giving in and getting a 3.5 gallon with no filter or heat. I had no idea what we were getting into. It's now turned into having a 20g with 5 fish (currently cycling with fish
like I said, no real idea what we were doing, so it's a long story, but cycling with fish was necessary to save a little fishy life!) and a 10 gallon planted tank, currently cycling and awaiting its new
betta friend when finished.
Help! I'm a newbie with
MTS!!
I have since seen a couple of 30g, and a 29g on craigslist and the hubby had to make me turn away. We live in a 3 bedroom trailer! We don't have room for more! lol
I feel so lucky that I stumbled across this site late one night when I was trying to figure out how to do this right and save Nemo #2. We lost 2 fish when we started (with the 3.5g), but I'm thrilled to say Nemo #2 (dalmation Molly) seems to be thriving in her new home. She's a completely different fish, and I honestly believe she was on her way out just about 2 weeks ago.
