Okay, so my pet store has an aquarium full of guppies and the pH, ammonia, and nitrate were similar with mine. nitrite in my aquarium is 0 and at the pet store it is 5. Do i need to alcimate them or would they be okay since nitrite is bad?

You should allways aclimate your fish whenever you are changing their tanks. Your water maybe better but there is a difference and the shock from the difference is what is stressfull and harmfull to your fish.

Also if their is Nitrite 5 you might want to quarentine them as nitrite is damaging and they may come down with some kind of disease. And it never hurts to take the time to acclimate your fishes
