Hi to everyone, I am still very new to this type of computer use so be patient with me. I have 3 tanks ranging in size from 50 lts 100lts and around 700lts,In the big tank I have a black ghostknife and in the 100lt tank I have a pale ghostie It was sold to me as a golden but I don't know? Any how can anyony smarter than me advise whether the two ghosties would live in the big tank.?? I have read that they do not cohabit very well, but this is a big tank (2metres long) and blackie is fairly friendly, all thoughts and advice apprieciated. Secondly I have an electronic pH meter which needs to be callibrated from time to time so it is accurate, can anyony help with how I go about making a solution that has a known PH value so I can callibrate the device, Many thanks in anticipation of lots of good advice. Erik

Good morning. As far as your pH meter is concerned, I had one years ago. It seems like mine came with a solution for calibrating. If I remember correctly the solution was 7.0 pH. Here is a link for you that you can purchase it if you want:

Buy purified bottled water from 7-11. It has pH of 6.5. I use this as my benchmark.

75 G community planted with live rock. Generic overhead filter (1,000 liters/ hr).
7 swordtails
10 German guppies
2 pearl mollies
2 dalmatian mollies
7 Glass fishes
1 Red Oranda (5 in.)

Good point betta. It's been so long since I used a meter I forgot about the distilled water as a test base. Thanks for pointing that out
