Yeah I joined a while ago, but I only just decided to become active (yeah....).
So anyway, I've been keeping bettas for a while now. My first
betta, Gill, passed about two years ago. He was six years old so he was up there in age. He went through two snail buddies during his life. He also went through three tanks.
The first tank was a cheap one you can get in the toy aisle from Target. This was also my first tank. It was a cheap plastic one that began to crack. The second tank was a 2.5 gal mini bow from walmart. That one began to crack as well. Afterward, we moved on to an acrylic ten gallon. I've had that one ever since. He was a pretty tough little guy. He lived with no heater for a long time but hey, six years was a pretty long haul.
I had a community tank for a while afterward. I kept some neon tetras and a guppy. After them, I went to the betta and ivory snail I currently have. The betta's name is Nyko and the ivory snail's name is Gary III. I had an ADF in there but he had a dropsy and I didn't have anything to help him with. (Didn't have salt...) He died shortly after. His name was Eddie.
So yeah that's my fish story. How's everyone else?
