Hi all.

I've been lurking here for a few weeks and just joined today.

I'm the proud grandma of a blue veiltail betta boy named Mr. Raven Fish. He was a wholly unexpected addition to our family that I have been trying to learn all I can about. Right now he lives in a 1 and 1/2 gallon uncycled jar with a micro heater (78 F) that gets daily 50% water changes. As soon as the fishless cycle on his new tank is done, he will be moving to an Eclipse 3 (3 gallon) tank that I plan on planting with some nice low light greenery.

Anyway, thanks for putting together such a great forum and I look forward to meeting all of you.

Thanks for the welcome everyone.

I will post pics of Mr. Raven Fish soon. I am getting impatient waiting for his new tank to finish cycling (and changing the water in his bowl every day). LOL I think everyone will be happier was he has a proper home.
